Northern Living LLC

Living in Fairbanks, Alaska offers the unique opportunity to live a simpler life, uncluttered by some of the modern conveniences.

Northern Living LLC is a small, family-owned cabin building and rental business. Since our first rental in 2002, we have built a total of 8 rentals and remodeled 6 additional rentals, including 5 dry cabins near downtown Fairbanks, and one small house built in the 1940's.  All of our cabins are dry, which means without plumbing. Most of them are relatively secluded and surrounded by a canopy of spruce and birch trees.The community of dry cabins within the city is a unique cluster of historic buildings centered around a community bathhouse. This offers the best of both worlds, inexpensive cabin life with the ease of plumbing right next door. We also have a unique tiny house located 25 miles out of town in the foothills of the White Mountains.
